Our Story

Hi, I’m Lexi! The hands and heart behind The Crafty Caticorn. My creative journey began in 2020, as a small earring hobby and a dream to be my own boss. From there I was inspired by my two cuddly cats to create The Crafty Caticorn. My very first event consisted of a single 6-foot table and three Dollar Tree trays full of earrings! From there, I slowly expanded into crochet, exploring new ways to create and share handmade art.

Along the way, I decided to quit my full time job and put my all into The Crafty Caticorn. I worked harder than I ever had and slowly grew my business. My husband even joined in on the fun, bringing 3D printing into the mix and adding a whole new layer to The Crafty Caticorn’s collections. Over time, my focus evolved from yarn and hooks to clay, color, and creativity. These days, I spend most of my time crafting handmade earrings, ceramics, teaching and putting in my 2 cents on our 3D-printed designs.

I’ve been able to turn my passion for creating into something that continues to grow and inspire those around me.

Now, I’ve begun sharing what I’ve learned by teaching ceramics and crochet to others. Passing on that spark of creativity and watching it take shape in someone else’s hands has been one of the most rewarding parts of this adventure.

At its heart, The Crafty Caticorn is about self-expression, connection, and finding joy in creating something truly your own. One handmade piece at a time.
